ATS-13® Activity Assay
What is your testing algorithm for patients suspected of having thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP)?
ATS-13 Activity Assay provides protocols to quantitatively measure ADAMTS-13 protease activity and determine the presence of inhibitory antibodies to ADAMTS-13 in human plasma.
ADAMTS-13 is the protease that cleaves von Willebrand Factor. Significant decreases or an absence of ADAMTS-13 activity can lead to the formation of ultra-large vWF fragments and trigger iIntravascular platelet aggregation and microthrombosis, causing the signs and symptoms of thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, TTP.
Quick and Easy
- Set up in less than 10 minutes
- Pre-diluted calibrators
- Results in under 45 minutes
Sensitive
- Utilizes fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) technology with less test variability
- % Activity and % Inhibition derived from a fluorescent endpoint
